Commisions:
This is how it works.
You may have an idea of a painting, or a photo that you can imagine as a greater piece of art . I can help you make that vision come true in oil , watercolor or a drawing. The work can be of any subject and in any style.
If you see a work of art in my site that has been sold and you want a reproduction, I can do that too.
Here are some examples of commissions that I have done.

This painting is from a small photo in National Geographic, The customer appreciates images that pertain to third world countries. This piece was altered slightly for a more painterly feel .
Oil on canvas 50x50 inches

HAPPY TILLY
CREATED FROM MY OWN PHOTOGRAPH
OIL ON CANVAS
40X40 INCHES
CREATED ON MUSEUM STRETCHERS 2.5 INCHES WIDE
Watercolors take only moments to dry, so depending on the detail and size of the work, it would take about a week to create.
Oils take much longer to dry, and depending on the style(thick impasto or thin layers) It could take up to three weeks to dry to the touch and about six months to a year to dry completely. On an average oil commission, I usually have the painting finished inside a week or two and then an additional two weeks before the customer can take it home to hang.
