About the Imagine “Asbury Park Banner” contest: Following a 2 month submission period in October-November 2008, a panel of 5 independent judges has selected 14 winning works of art, which will be printed of 5 banners each and hung on many of Asbury Park’s lampposts for 1 year. The banners will be sponsored by various local businesses, with proceeds benefiting ArtsCAP and the Asbury Park Historical Society (complete sponsor list to be published shortly).
