 Hi Everyone! 
 
 I hope this finds you well. We've been busy planning the upcoming 
 fall event; it's only 2 months away! Please mark your calendars for 
 Oct. 6th, 6-9pm at The Hub/Our New Home in Newark. 
 
 Chris Warner, our amazing guest speaker, (former Project U.S.E. 
 member and Mount Everest climber), has generously agreed to join us 
 for a few days Oct 5-7th. In addition to the event, we hope to keep 
 him very busy with presentations at Newark schools & businesses. 
 
 SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES 
 We've looped an incentive in to our sponsorships this year. 
 Businesses or organizations that become Premier 'Everest' Sponsors at 
 the $10,000 level, will receive a customized multimedia leadership 
 presentation from Chris, on-site at their location. Besides being a 
 successful entrepreneur, climber, teacher, and author, Chris is also 
 a very gifted speaker. His latest gig was at Google:

 IT WOULD BE OF GREAT HELP if you introduced this sponsorship 
 opportunity to businesses you have contacts with. We have a goal of 
 raising $50 K this year, and 4 speaking engagements with Chris plus 
 ticket sales from our event could easily make this happen.

 We could also use help with gifts for our auction. Karen Mason, our 
 most excellent 'Auction Madam' is looking for a variety of donations. 
 Ideas include: 
 
 Tickets to sporting or theater events 
 Gift Certificates to spas, restaurants, etc. 
 Museum Passes 
 Artwork

 MUSICIANS 
 We could also use help in finding talent. Being a cocktail party in 
 an enclosed space, we've found that acoustic music works best. A Jazz

 help out with the logistics of the event. 
 
 GETTING THE WORD OUT 
 Maria, our Development Director, will be sending you each 100 
 Save-The-Date cards. If you're able, we'd be thrilled if you could 
 distribute these to friends, family, and local 
 businesses/eateries/coffee shops, (particularly those in Nwk & 
 surrounding areas). We've already sent them out to the 10 or so names 
 you each gave us earlier.
