About the Images
These Gestural sketches were drawn from live models when I was attending the New York School of Visual arts.
My instructor Peter Hrstoff ( A successful New York contemporary artist from Turkey) taught us by giving us a time limit to draw the figure using simple lines. The figure would change every 30 seconds and we would begin a new drawing. An excellent exercise for those wanting the feel of movement, creating scale and preliminary drawings for more in depth works.
