My Steps to make a Painting
This is an example of how I produce a painting. Any photo you have can be turned into a creative original piece of art that will last throughout generations.
First-Here is an old photograph I found in an estate sale from the Fifties
Second I made a drawing in simple contour lines
Third- I made a paper collage, getting a feel for the shapes and colors
Fourth-- I scanned the drawing into my computer, then using photo shop, i could play with the colors and textures a bit more .
Last- the final oil painting
